Carol's Comments: This ditty, repeated regularly, will cement useful measurements and their equivalents into your child's memory. You'll notice that the audio link stops 10 lines before the end. That's for 2 reasons. First, my audio recorder only permits a 60-second recording. Ugh. But also, the last 10 lines really become a stand-alone piece. After your kids have learned this piece fairly well, review it occasionally by just reciting the last ten lines. The audio link for this second section is found on the menu as "A Pint's A Pound: Part Two". |
