Carol's Comments: I really love this piece because it truly showcases the power of the ditty. Each of my kids, as young as 8, memorized this list of Presidents so very easily. All it takes is daily repetition. If you want, have a poster or placemat showing the Presidents and have your kids point to them the first 5-10 times that they go through the ditty. Then they've actually got a face to connect with the name.  Now you're hitting many different learning styles all at once.

And for what it's worth, the Bush-Bush-Bush ending is not a political statement. We were just too lazy to come up with an ending line. Plus, we know that in a few short weeks (writing this on 10/08) it will need to read either "Bush and McCain" or Bush and Obama."
